Energy Audit

Energy Audit Packages

The PEG Energy audit process includes Blower Door, Duct Blaster, IR survey, Bolometer airflow survey, HVAC installation assessment, Thermal Bypass Checklist, IECC Utility comparison and remedial recommendations. The difference between the three levels of audits that we currently offer is primarily in the amount of detail that goes into the reporting process and the development of a remedial scope of work.

The basic audit includes the field work and a hand written report left at the jobsite with a comparison of values to industry and regional standards. The middle level includes a printed report with photographs of all of the deficiencies, a REScheck report and a remedial plan for exactly what we recommend be addressed. The top tier service also includes a scope of work written in code compliant language that can be used by a homeowner to bid the recommended remedial actions. This top level also includes a re-inspection once the work has been completed.

The following service packages are valid only on homes of less than 3500 square feet. Larger homes will be provided a customized proposal based on the desired level of service. Base package prices are for homes with one HVAC system.
