The RESNET HERS Rater accreditation is a nationally recognized professional designation that is commonly associated with residential building performance comprehension and analysis. These skills are applied in the independent verification and certification of the construction of new homes, the determination of applicable performance standards to Federal mortgage requirements and to existing homes to the extent possible within the restrictions of access to critical building components.
This course is designed to quantify and expand upon the essential knowledge and skills required to produce accurate home energy ratings in accordance with the latest standards published by RESNET. In addition, this course will carefully address the policies and procedures of complying with the technical requirements of RESNET as well as maintaining the professional standards that are vigorously upheld by RESNET.
Multifamily Building Analyst Training
The Multifamily Building Analyst curriculum was developed by AEA with the support of NYSERDA and based upon the national standards developed by an expert panel convened by BPI. The course prepares experienced energy auditors and building analysts for certification as a Multifamily Building Analyst

Energy Efficient Building Operations Specialist
The Energy Efficient Building Operations Specialist (EEBOPS) course is offered for building personnel facing challenges of keeping costs down while energy prices are rising. The EEBOPS training course assists personnel eliminate much of the guesswork of managing building performance for energy efficiency. Completion of the Building Operations Specialist course is a requirement for multifamily building superintendents in projects in NYSERDA’s Assisted Multifamily Program and buildings undergoing weatherization through the NYS Weatherization Assistance Program.
